June 16 has flown by and Romana is already a year and a month old now. Wow! She has changed so much, losing the baby fat, and looking like a beautiful little girl instead of a beautiful baby. She is now walking a lot more although she is still working on her balance, which means she is falling alot too. She always seems to get back up without crying for the most part and try again. She is into everything and loves getting into stuff. She now has the whole downstairs area to explore and walk around and she loves it. She is eating more solids, drinks more from her sippy cup, but doesn't seem to have a desire not to nurse from mom. I hear stories from other women on how their babies weaned themselves. Romana, however, doesn't seem to have that desire. DARN! I'll have to do it the hard way. I cut 2 nursings this month and will be cutting 2 more in August which will leave 2 for the evening. PRAY FOR ME MY FAMILY! PLEASE!!! I'm going to need all the help I can get.
Raven is now back from visiting with her Nana in MN for the last 2 weeks. She had a good time. All seemed to be going well after coming home from vacation except for today. Assigned her a chore and she only did part of it banking on the fact that mom won't double check her work. Her answer is she didn't want to work so did as little as possible. Seems Raven is suffering from the PRINCESS SYNDROME which always happens when visiting with her Nana in MN. Now I will be working on DE-PRINCESSING her which is always a lovely thing. LAST TIME SHE WILL BE GOING TO MN BY HERSELF RUTH! SORRY! I will probably change my mind in the future but I doubt it.
